Please pray for Holiday Club.
Pray for the team of volunteers who will be delivering it.
Pray for the children and families we will meet and that we will use the opportunities God's way.
Pray the children will get to know Jesus and develop a relationship with him during the week.
Pray for safety, and patience and lots of fun and fellowship.
Holiday Club 2019: Donations of Orange or Apple & Blackcurrant squash (Not barley water) and fruit for during Holiday Club would be much appreciated for THIS WEEK. Many thanks. Janice Turnbull.
Altar flowers - The Flower Team has had a discussion about the altar flowers and decided that, as it's so hot in church during the summer, it would be wise to use silk flowers instead of fresh. It seems a waste of time and money to create lovely designs only for them the wilt a few days later.
From now until the beginning of September silk flowers will be placed in the altar area.
Anyone wanting to put flowers on the Altar please sign the sheet in the vestibule. If you wish to give a donation towards flowers please see Diane, Rosemary or Marion.
Thank you for all the kind words and support I have received as I step down from my post, it has been a joy and great privilege to be in post and only possible through your great support and God's grace. Thank you also for the lovely tea party last week and your kind gifts. I am so delighted that the funding has come through to extend and continue the CYF post! - God is so so good and so faithful! Keeping the recruitment process in my prayers. Every blessing, Christine Muneza.
Message from Caroline our Team Rector - Revd Fiona Collin Farewell Service - We will be saying goodbye to Fiona and Neil at a special service at St Cuthbert’s church on Sunday 1st September at 4.00pm. The whole Team has been blessed by Fiona’s ministry and this will be our opportunity to show our appreciation, to pray for her as she follows her calling to be a hospital chaplain, and to get our hankies out and have a jolly good cry! If you wish to make a donation to Fiona’s farewell gift please hand monies in to Diane Elsom and Marion McConnell over the coming weeks.
