Christmas Journey – Please sign-up if you would like to help at Christmas Journey, lots of help is needed for this great opportunity to tell the Christmas story. Please see the sign-up sheet in the foyer or Janice for more info.

Henry Smith Grant Application – Many thanks to everyone who prayed and was involved in the grant application. Unfortunately we were not granted any funds on this occasion. Please continue to pray as the Children and Young Families Committee meets this week to decide how we move forward with recruiting a new CYF worker / coordinator with the grant and money from other fundraising we do have.

Durham Winter Night Shelter are looking for volunteers to help provide shelter for the homeless in Durham. The scheme is running from 1st December until 29th February and provides a bed and food for those in need when the temperature falls below zero. There are five locations in Durham where the above is provided. If you are interested in helping, you will need to undergo a small amount of training. Bible Study - Pauline James will be continuing to lead a relaxed bible study - from Hosea to Malachi - a preparation for Advent. Exploring the less well-known prophets to point us in the right direction for Advent and Christmas. These will be held at Diane Elsom’s home 16 Stanhope Close Monday 10am - 11.30am. November, 18th, 25th.  Reflection and Prayers for Advent December 16th. All are welcome.
