Fun with Flowers

All Saints Social Team has scored top marks again!!

Last week was a 'Fun with Flowers' evening and it definitely lived up to it's name.
40 ladies produced some fabulous flower arrangements.

Jean Wolstenholme was the demonstrator for the evening and she took the 'Students' through the stages of how to make a lovely centrepiece for the table.
First off there was a flower picture quiz (the prize was a box of Roses chocolates) and this was followed by tea, coffee and cakes, all flower themed, of course.
Once refreshed the students concentrated on their efforts. The pictures show just how talented our ladies are!

The first prize for the best arrangement was the lovely table centre Jean had created. 2nd and 3rd prizes were a bunch of flowers, naturally!!
Jean was the judge assisted by Rosemary and Marion. It was a very hard decision and one which wasn't taken lightly.
In the words of Jean "they are all winners and very beautiful'.

After a great night of fellowship, laughter and creation everyone agreed it was a night to remember and asked for another in the not too distant future.
