The Rainbow Club

Monday 1.30pm – 3pm during term-time

The Rainbow Club is our group for babies and toddlers from the local community with their parents, grandparents or carers. We meet together socially and play with a variety of toys, play dough and crafts. It closes with story, prayer and song time.

Mothers' Union

2nd Wednesday of each month at 6.30pm

Mothers Union is a Christian organisation  with over 4 million members worldwide  and we celebrate 150 years of MU in 2026.  In Durham Diocese  we have 14 Deaneries  and 60 branches.

Here at All Saints our branch meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6.30 p.m., where we enjoy prayer and fellowship  and to which anyone is welcome.

Coffee Mornings

Saturdays 10:00 to 12:00

There is a coffee morning every Saturday in All Saints Church. Each week a different person or group takes on organising the coffee morning to raise money for a charity or cause. Some weeks there’s lots going on with all sorts of stalls and activities and other weeks there is a quieter café atmosphere. Whatever type of coffee morning it is you are always guaranteed a warm welcome, a steaming cup of tea or coffee, juice for the children and some homemade cakes or scones.

If you want to fundraise for a cause or charity then get in touch with us to discuss organising one of our coffee mornings by emailing worship@allsaintsnewtonhall.org.uk

House Group

The house group meets monthly to study and discuss readings from the bible, to pray and to enjoy fellowship.

The group that currently meets is full but we are looking at starting other house groups.

If you are interested in joining a house group please speak to one of the stewards or email worship@allsaintsnewtonhall.org.uk

Power Prayer Time

Wednesdays at noon via WhatsApp

Every Wednesday at noon (or as close to it as possible) the group pray for up to 15 minutes based on suggestions posted in the chat. Our prayers praise God, thanking Him for all His wonderous blessings, praying for events locally, nationally and around the world and also asking our Lord to help those in need. This can be done on your own or with friends and family and can be done anywhere – at home, work or even while out at the shops. Our Lord hears us wherever we are.

If you would like to join please email worship@allsaintsnewtonhall.org.uk and details on how to join will be sent to you.

Singing Group

The singing group give a helping hand (or voice!) to lead the hymns alongside the musicians in all Sunday services apart from cafe church. The group is formed of church members who like to sing and is informal - anyone is welcome to join. They practice in church before the service (back room at 10 a.m.) with the aim of encouraging the congregation to worship with confidence. The singing group like learning new hymns meaning that the repertoire sang in services has grown. They sing both traditional and modern hymns and have performed anthems in occasional services.
